From blockchain to drones, data analysis to crowdfunded insurance, Internet of Things to genome technology to wearables—where there is an exciting new technology, there’s a way it can revolutionize insurance, and that is exactly what Startupbootcamp InsurTech has found in its Top 10 startups.

SailPoint, the undisputed leader in identity governance, surveyed customers and attendees at this week’s Gartner IAM Summit about their plans for cloud adoption in the next five years. Of the 100 survey respondents, 30 percent plan to transition more of their mission-critical applications to the cloud in the next two years, and a full 50 percent indicated that they will take a cloud-first approach for all IT purchases by 2021.
