The proliferation of end user devices combined with the need for employees to work at any time, from any location has resulted in the mobile workforce accessing critical network resources from an unprecedented variety of end points.
This "Consumerization" of end user devices has put IT under pressure to preserve this productivity by allowing employees to use their personal smartphones. However, with this comes a host of related problems - ranging from uncontrolled bandwidth consumption to exposing new conduits for malware attack and data leakage. In this session, we will examine the impact of the consumerized end point and how best to develop a universal, platform-agnostic approach to security best practices, which treats all smartphones as uncontrolled endpoints.
